Share
The love it or hate it Allen & Ginter is back for another year. Always one of the year's most unique sets of the year, and this year will be no different.
Formats
Hobby Box -
- 24 Packs per box; 8 cards per pack; 12 boxes per case
- 24 mini base cards; 24 inserts per box
- 2 hits per box (auto, relic, rip card, book card, printing plate)
- Many collectors are upset at the move from 3 hits in 2024 to 2 hits this year. It may be that the hits are better, it's too early for me to have an opinion.

- 8 packs; 6 cards per box; 40 boxes per case
- 8 mini base cards; 8 insert cards per box

Rip Cards
Sometimes A&G makes you make difficult decisions - to rip or not to rip. Inside of these rip cards are an exclusive mini card, which can be base, metal, stained glass or wood. These also come in dual-rip card version.
Relics
Relics: I believe for the first time, they are introducing numbers relics in this set. Of course, you'd rather an auto be one of your 2 hits in a hobby box, but perhaps a low-numbered mutli-color patch will do just fine as well. 172 subject on the checklist, including non baseball players. Perhaps the most unique relic on the checklist is from Alex the Great... who was a Rabbit.
Mini Framed Relic: 152 baseball players on this checklist (no non-baseball players)
Lineup Card Relic: I believe these are 1/1's and are most sought after relic. There are 84 players on the checklist.
DNA Relic: This set features dinosaur fossils!
Autograph Cards
Non-Baseball Mini Auto: This auto set featured 52 subjects. I don't claim to be the most in-tune with pop-culture, but many I've not heard of. However, there are a few bigger names here, including: Al Pacino, Bryan Cranston, Big Sean, Larry David, Druski, Emma Roberts, Kenan Thompson, Livvy Dunne, Seth Meyers.
Mini Auto: Features a big checklist of 151 players (75 of them rookies).
Full size Auto: Interestingly, only 2 players on the full size base autos: Kirk Gibson & George Brett.
Carte De Visite Auto: We don't have published odds yet, but these appear to be shortprinted autos of some of the bigger names in the game, including Judge, Bonds, Griffey, Ichiro, Ohtani, Skenes, etc.
Larry David Mini/Full set: While Larry David signs a mini-auto in the set referenced above, there is also a 3 card mini auto set and 3 card full size auto set dedicated to Larry David.
Employee Autos: This features autos of 8 Topps employees. These are typically very short printed.
Dual Auto: Livvy Dunne/Julz Dunne
Quadruple Auto: Joe Godino/Eric Keen/Tom May/Greg Barnett (The Menzingers rock band)
Quintuple Auto: Zach Rishal/John Hall/Drew Nix/Andrew Bishop/Brandon Coleman) (Red Clay Strays country rock band)
Auto Relic: Features 123 players (no non-baseball players in this set). There are also 34 cards on a dual auto relic checklist.
Lineup Card Relic Auto: These are all 1/1's and are product hits (especially the Cal Raleigh "dumper" version below). There are 50 of these on the checklist.

Cut Auto/Cut Auto Relic: There are 47 Cuto Autos and 22 Cut auto relics on the checklist. Most are legendary baseball players, but there are also some non-baseball autos, including: Grover Cleveland, John Quincy Adams, James Madison, Ulysses S. Grant, William T. Sherman, and Woodrow Wilson.
